Playing with filters

Playing around with my different settings on my camera, I tweeted the colors to show the purples in the photo. My original photo is below.

Loving the creative aspects of the different filters and how they can change a photo just like that!

Bee

Love this photo of the bee, Tracy and I were at the Oregon lavender festival. We were sitting back enjoying music, when this bee started crawling around on the flowers, just by chance this little fella faced me in flight just as the shutter closed. 

4th of July fireworks in Molalla Oregon

Always love watching fireworks each year. 

Getting the chance to sit with my husband with no kids was amazing 

Though I have to admit I miss the days of Being with the kids, the oo's and ahhs

Old barns

I love the look of old barns. The one above was an old cabin that use to sit on the property before my grandparents built their house way back in the 50's

This barn is on a neighbors piece of property, I loves how the sun was setting just so behind the barn. 

Mt Hood

A couple times a month Tracy and I go on a drive around the area. Just taking in the beautiful scenery, usually end up stopping for a meal or a glass of wine. 

On this trip we had breath taking views of Mt Hood. 

Beautiful flowers

My begonias have taken off, blooming so beautifully this year. Seems like each day there is even more flowers. 

Love the look of this Iris. Nesting so nicely in all the green

Calla lilies are one of my favorite flowers. 

Lavender Farm

Each year Liberty Natural host a lavender festival at the Oregon lavender farm. Each year the landscape just keeps getting better. 

Hopefully this coming event there will be a non cloudy day so I can get the view of Mt. Hood in the distance with the gorgeous lavender
